Letter ‘Aleph’

This is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
You have already watched and listened to the Hebrew song
“Aleph-Bet” and got a general idea how the Hebrew letters look
and sound.
Let's now get acquainted with the letter 'Aleph'
In itself it is a "silent" letter and adapt the sound of the vowel
associated with it. Therefore it is easy to understand the way
vowels are used in Hebrew by explaining the use of those with
the letter 'Aleph'.

In the chart on the next page we will learn the most common
Hebrew vowels.
